Glove compartment release actuator

Mine was not working properly

It will open but won’t close

Thanks to glove compartment removal videos by Aston 1936 I was able to locate the actuator and test it several times.

To remove it, not sure what the manual calls for, but I decided to drill out the two rivets holding the bracket it’s attached to.

Once you do that, there are two t15 bolts securing the actuator.

Jaguar part number: jaguar 2w93-f9c070-ab

BMW part number: 67118352168 (67-11-8-352-168) is a fuel filler flap (gas door) actuator

VDO part number : 67116987625
Around $40.

All of this are the same and new parts.

You will need the cable adapter that’s in the old actuator and it’s easily transferable.
